Daniel Dank is a diplomatic consular officer, economic consultant, and humanitarian active across Europe, Africa, and selected partner regions in Asia. Based in Cagliari (Italy) where he serves Zambia's Consulate Office he maintains his home in Cologne (Germany), he advises governments, diplomatic missions, investors, and philanthropic organizations on emerging markets, development cooperation, and international economic diplomacy.

Hon. Daniel Dank began his work on the African continent in Malawi in 2009, initially in the context of development and humanitarian projects. In 2010 he received his first nomination as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Malawi to Germany, establishing a formal bridge between Malawian interests and German counterparts.

Economic advisory and consular functions for the Republic of Malawi in the European Union, including service as Economic Advisor and Honorary Consul to the Kingdom of Belgium.
Goodwill Ambassador for the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Natural Resources in Malawi (Since 2015).
Diplomatic Advisor to the Kingdom of Lesotho and its mission in Berlin.
Special Advisor for the Union of the Comoros and its mission in Brussels.

Today, his work relating to Malawi is focused on humanitarian and charitable activities through independent organizations and is no longer carried out directly on behalf of the Malawian government.
